So, after writing the initial installment I have spent a lot of time thinking what the title should be for this blog? Altogether, this blog is going to encompass adjusting to retired life and defining and creating a new chapter. All areas of life will certainly be touched by this change. How will I feel? What will the changes be? What are my desires, social, emotional changes, etc. and what have I put off and what is on my wish list? Is the wish list that I have had in my mind still accurate? I find myself asking these questions and wondering what is on the other side of opening the doors to these new possibilities.
Over the years I have had a variety of ideas which have been scribbled on pieces of paper placed in a variety of places in the house, my bedside table, near my computer, in a little notebook which in fact I am not sure where that even is. As this life process unfolds, I have landed on the title Retirement Reawakening! Other names that were considered were: Now What! Retirement a New Awakening.
I will be addressing the following three topics to name a few all throughout this blog,
Retire, Reinvent and Renew
Retire
Retirement can be so challenging. It is redefining parts of your life, and equally finding relevance through activities that matter. Well, I am here to rejiggle and rejog your long forgotten desires and sense of adventure and to share my approach and outlook of this amazing new chapter!
Reinvent
Reinventing your life is undeniably no small task. Any new life transition comes with the opportunity to reinvent yourself. So, take a leap of faith, believe in yourself and begin the next step to your wonderful journey!
Renew
Take this opportunity to renew your life to be the life you’ve always dreamed of living. Renew your sense of purpose and find joy.

I hope that my journey and experiences will offer insight, ideas, excitement and possibilities of what can lie ahead in retirement. The process of new beginnings, opening new doors of possibilities, welcoming new opportunities. Every day is an opportunity for a new beginning!
